Temperature Taken On Children
When there are small children at home and they do not get bad, there are times that it is very difficult to take their body temperature with a standard forehead thermometer , since they take a lot and babies are not very good at maintaining a fixed posture.
Currently there are infrared thermometers to take the body temperature, these thermometers use a system of lenses that captures the infrared energy that emits our body through the skin in a few seconds and thus avoid having to be entertaining the baby.
There are two types of infrared thermometers:
Thermometer Front: This thermometer gives us the temperature just by leaning it on the forehead. It is usually an ergonomic thermometer and small size.
Ear Thermometer: This thermometer gives us the temperature by inserting it into the baby’s or child’s ear. Most of these devices have disposable protective covers that surround the probe for greater hygiene.
CHICCO EASY TOUCH INFRARED FRONT THERMOMETER, which detects in a few seconds the heat emitted by the forehead providing a fast and accurate measurement. It is compact and easy to use thanks to the position of the probe.
What characteristics do they have?
*Lithium battery (duration 5 years).
*Acoustic signal (fever alarm) for temperatures higher than 37.5 degrees.
*Turns off after one minute of inactivity to save.
How is it used?
Press the ON / MEM button. Two beeps will be emitted and the entire screen will appear for about 2 seconds. Once the self-test session is successfully completed, the thermometer display will show the symbol ºC and you are ready to carry out the measurement.
